CovrGard brings bulk-fit GLOS and marine AQUA films to SEMA

CovrGard says its SEMA 2026 display will include GLOS automotive paint-protection film and AQUA marine protection film, two additions it identifies as new for 2026. The November 3–6 appearance is planned for the North Hall, with practical demonstrations and films visitors can handle.

GLOS is aimed at installers doing bulk fitting and higher-volume work. CovrGard’s separate introduction describes it as an additional option alongside GLOS+, with an emphasis on conformability and application efficiency. The company says GLOS is already available; the SEMA appearance is an opportunity to inspect the material rather than evidence of a show-day launch.

AQUA extends the demonstration beyond vehicle paint. The manufacturer describes a marine-specific film for gel coat and painted vessel surfaces, including hull sections and high-contact areas. Its product page lists a 250-micron, or approximately 10 mil, construction and notes that warranty duration varies by region.

The two materials call for different questions at the stand. For GLOS, ask to handle the film on a compound curve and compare the approved stretch, adhesive and edge-finishing procedure with GLOS+. For AQUA, bring the intended substrate and application area to the discussion, and obtain written guidance for exposure, preparation, cleaning and removal. A marine label is not enough to establish suitability for every vessel or submerged surface.

CovrGard also plans to demonstrate its GRAFX pattern software and discuss its wider window-film, windshield-protection and panoramic-roof products. The reviewed announcement does not provide a timed demo schedule or a measured installation-time saving.

The official SEMA exhibitor directory lists CovrGard at booth 12651 in North Hall. Save the current directory entry when planning a visit and check the booth’s own demonstration timetable on arrival.
